Property Insurance
Elitist Republicans ran Florida for the past 30 years; on THEIR watch, homeowner’s insurance premiums skyrocketed. Florida’s homeowner’s insurance is 4X the national average, all because radical Florida Republicans allowed insurance companies to take advantage of us! We must lower the cost of housing & rent.
Reproductive Freedom
Government has no place standing between women and their doctors. Extremist Project 2025 right-wingers are trying to ban access to IVF and birth control. I support limiting government interference with patient’s medical care and giving people the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions with their doctors.
Clean Water
We must ensure quality of life for future generations and enshrine the right to clean water in the Florida constitution. We must protect our beaches and water to be safe for swimming and recreation. We must protect marginalized communities from environmental hazards and advocate for the protection of Biscayne Bay.
Workers
Workers are the backbone of our economy and society. Out-of-touch Radical anti-union Florida Republicans voted to reduce workers’s heat protections.
Minimum Wage
Elitist Florida Republicans voted to ban localities from raising their minimum wage above the State. For all the talk about smaller government, these Republicans don’t actually practice what they preach. I believe in strong home rule and localities being able to raise the minimum wage.
Democracy
Radical Republicans made it harder to vote in elections and protest peacefully. They fear a government of the people, by the people, for the people. Republicans want a government of the corporations, by the lobbyists, for the CEOs! Enabling dictatorships and eroding democracy is not conservative, it is treasonous!
Gun Safety
I am opposed to gun lobby-backed state legislators who push laws that put students and everyday people at risk. We must implement common-sense gun laws, including universal background checks, banning assault weapons, and take measures to prevent gun violence. "We all deserve to live in a country where we are safe to exist and love freely." Moms Demand Action
Education
I do not support unlimited school vouchers that provide public tax-dollar support for private religious schools that take funds from children with disabilities which was the original intention for the voucher program. I strongly oppose book banning and support Families Against Book Banning.
Human Rights
I support the rights of the LGBTQ community. Against anti-LGBTQ agenda including the Don't Say Gay bill. I am opposed to the intrusion and criminalization of the government into the our most vulnerable members of our community including, the elderly, the homeless, and those struggling with mental health.
