"Growing up in Miami and living in Key Biscayne since 1975, I have witnessed first-hand the challenges and opportunities our community faces. I am running for Florida House District 113 Representative to ensure our voices are heard in Tallahassee and to advocate for policies that benefit all residents.”

Meet Jackie

Raised in Miami and a long-time resident of Key Biscayne, Jackie has lived and worked in Miami for most of her life.

She and her husband have raised their three children in Miami, all attending the same public schools that she attended. Jackie loves art, sports, anthropology, and nature. She enjoys soccer, snorkeling, hiking, native plant gardening, birding, and beach combing (which unfortunately also includes picking up garbage). Jackie has been deeply involved in the Miami-Dade soccer community for over 25 years, including her time as an All-Dade County player at Coral Gables High School and her collegiate career at Guilford College. She also played for the British Virgin Islands Women's National Team. Her professional experience spans non-profit organizations in membership, marketing, and development across Washington, DC, Mexico City, Coral Gables, Curacao, and Miami.

Born in Viña del Mar, Chile as Jacqueline Kena Gross to parents from Colombia and New York, the Gross family made Key Biscayne their home in 1975.

Jackie grew up on “The Key” attending the island’s stellar public schools where her own children subsequently attended. It is on The Key that Jackie became dedicated to serving her community like her dad, a Navy veteran, and her mother an environmental educator a Planet Ocean.

She is also a founding member of Friends of Gables High, a fundraising and advocacy alumni group focused on helping students excel in academics, athletics, and the arts in a state-of-the-art facility that will benefit the students and the Coral Gables community. Annually, she attends the Children and Nature Network's Nature Everywhere Conference (founded by Richard Louv) in Madison, Wisconsin, further solidifying her knowledge of environmental education and advocacy.

As an elected 2024 DNC Delegate, Jackie hopes to extend her capacity to improve the lives of future generations by running as a candidate for your vote.

In Tallahassee, representing Florida House District 113, Kellogg has five principal priorities: education, access to healthcare, recreational safety, boosting our economy, and common sense gun safety.

Jackie believes in strict accountability in the expenditure of taxpayer dollars, and targeted investment in those projects designed to allow communities to thrive.
